The little picturesque village of Dala-Floda is extremely rich in its own cultural traditions.The air is fresh and even the lake water is drinkable! There are many golf courses, vast hiking tracks, fishing and canoeing possibilities and bike rides for you to enjoy in the peaceful countryside. By car you can visit some wonderful gardens, antique shops and many other places of cultural interest in Dalarna.
The artists' homes of Carl Larsson and Anders Zorn are also within easy reach.
The Dalhalla Open Air Opera is approximately 60 minutes from here.

A very good advice is to fly to Västerås. Ryan Air: Rent a car.from Hertz we have an agreement. From there You go route 66 to Ludvika and there turn north road 247 to Björbo. Here turn right on Road 71. 9 km to Dala-Floda. Ca 2 hours altogether.From Stockholm Arlanda you go via Upsala - Sala ( Road 70). - Borlange - Djuras. In the roand -about turn left (Road 71).
Now go on for 20 km. Dala-Floda and we are just north of the road follow our signs Värdshuset.
If You prefer to go by train please contact us and we will make sure to pick You up at the station.
