This recently renovated hotel offers guests something special at breakfast; warm baked bread served with a large breakfast buffet and specialties.While you enjoy the restaurant or take an 'after-dinner' at the bar, the children will be happy to have their own place and try out new games on the Playstation.
A hundred years ago this was the place to recreate, wash and bathe in the river behind the hotel and dance in the middle of the park. You can still see the remains of history and become part of its future by spending some time here, just as many people from all over the world did from the late 19th century.

We have single rooms, a double and twin room on the 2nd floor. On the 1st floor we have suites, luxury suites and a family room. On the main level we have a suite for disabled guests and for those who want to bring their pet.All the 11 rooms are individually decorated, each with a bathroom, toilet, wardrobe and fire escape. Room are comfortable, spacious and bright. Each is equipped with satellite TV, a radio/alarm clock, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, soft bath towels and bed linen, free Wi-Fi internet and new beds. The luxury suites also offer a DVD player (with DVDs), bathrobes, bath slippers and electric adjustable beds and bathrooms. There is complimentary mineral water in every room. An extra bed can be put in most rooms (only when requested in advance).
For our little guests (up to 3 years old), we have a free and safe bed to offer. Please tell us in advance so we can take the best care possible.

Storfors is located in eastern Värmland, in the middle of the cities Karlskoga, Kristinehamn and Filipstad. The hotel is a one minute drive from road 26 (Inlandsvägen), the most used road by tourists from all over Europe on their way north or south. By car:- At the crossing road 26 and road 237 (Karlskoga) turn onto Centrum.
- Take the 1st street to the right over the railway crossing, passing the Spruthuset (Värmlands fire museum and tourist office during summertime) and just behind that, to the left, is the hotel.
